First, we loved riding on the bus, although it was a long ride!
First we got a class picture. Then we headed out to the field to pick veggies. We got carrots, lettuce, turnips, beets, onions and more. We took a train ride and after that we planted corn. We then got to pet and feed the animals which was so exciting! Next we had a snack and got to explore the play areas. There were water pumps, chicks, ropes and more. It was a great time.
Here are pictures of our day. I started to organize them but am losing the battle. Please excuse them being out of order and I apologize if there are duplicates!
We had lunch, played and started to celebrate Read Across America/Dr. Seuss' birthday. We had an awesome snack made by Emily Grieff and had a presentation from 3 6th graders.
It was a great day!
