Our first week

Our First Week:

On Tuesday we went all around the school and met many people.

First was Mr. Urken, our PE teacher. He taught us about playground expectations.

 Next were Mrs. Whiteside (Art teacher) and Mr. Abbot. They taught us about bathroom expectations (no photos of that one, sorry).

 Then it was Mrs. Pang in the Media Center. She taught us about expectations when walking around the school (Common Areas). We were SO quiet!

 The last one was the cafeteria where Mrs. Lovo, one of our school's aides, taught us about lunchroom expectations (no photos of this one).

 Our second special area was Media with Mrs. Pang. She read us a story, then we went to the library and checked out our own library books! We keep them at school.

 WE LOVE OUR BOOKS!

We got to have an afternoon recess and loved playing with the sand toys while we got to know each other.

We had all been anxious to play with all of the wonderful things in the classroom. Here we are doing activities at our tables. We are also learning what kind of voices we can use during what will be center time as well as sharing!

We closed out our week by making a book about kindergarten (it was in our backpacks on Friday). Here we are with one of the friends we made this week:

Eva wasn't here because she wasn't feeling well - we missed her!

 Here we are using rhythm sticks to say "Hinky Pinky Bumblebee, won't you say my name with me".

We had a great week!
