Buddies and more!!

Today we went to 5th grade and met our buddies. We will work with them on projects and activities throughout the year. We were a little shy but warmed up quickly. Our buddies read us a book then we drew each other and they interviewed us. Here we are:

We decorated our names

We found mountains, rivers and Arizona on a US map

We matched up magnetic ZooPhonics letters

We made shapes with Geoboards, stacked rectangles and made shape books in the math center.

We made cities and roads with blocks.

To celebrate the end of our shape unit we made shapes with our bodies:

Our first 100 Club member was Davis. He counted all the way to 100 with no help! He got to put his name on the 100 Club poster!!

Others will add their names as we learn to count higher and higher!

Our Second Week

WE are getting to know each other and working on creating art for our classroom!
