We've had a wonderful February so far. Here are some of our adventures.
We got to harvest the rest of the broccoli, the marigolds
and tomatoes in our garden.
We were amazed to see where the seeds were in the flowers
and how many there were!
The broccoli plants were huge and had to go!
We enjoyed our Valentine's Day Party.
We made sundaes.
We played games like seeing how many marshmallows we could pick up with chopsticks.
And how high we could stack candy hearts.
We made beautiful valentines for our families.
Mrs. Goshert's aunt Mary came in and taught us about China, The Great Wall and silkworm farming.
We learned that they boil and unravel the cocoons in the factory. People sometimes eat the "worm" inside.
Afterward we each got our own coccoon to unravel. We were pretty leery at first about what we'd find inside.

However, we were all delighted by what we found and we gobbled them up!
We are creating pandas, Statues of Liberty and other fun stuff with playdough and kinetic sand.

We are building with magnets in the STEM center.
In our Imagination Center we are trying out chopsticks and making "sushi".
We are coloring Russian nesting dolls on the rug.
Friday afternoon we got to go out and watch our buddies do high jump. We were right in the action!
